Gravel pad: $1–$3 per sq ft. Concrete slab: $6–$12 per sq ft, so a 10×10 slab is $600–$1,200. Leveling a small area: $500–$1,000. A 10×10 base fits most barrels here (the Watoga is about 6.5×5 ft; the Dundalk Elation about 8×8).
$250–$900 for the circuit itself (HomeGuide), but an outdoor sauna also needs the cable run out to the yard: $800–$3,500 for the whole job depending on distance (hot-tub wiring guides), plus a $75–$200 permit. Redwood Outdoors asks for a 30A breaker for 6 kW and 40A for 8 kW, installed by a certified electrician.
Almost Heaven and Redwood include a Harvia heater. The Dundalk listings we checked only recommend a heater size, and SaunaLife's G2 sells its heater separately (from $2,148 at the retailer).
Up to about $1.45 a session for a 6 kW heater at the US average rate, including warm-up. Outdoors in winter, warm-up takes longer, so budget more.
Almost Heaven: limited lifetime on manufacturing defects. Peak: 7 years. Dundalk: 3–5 years depending on the retailer, replacement parts only, no labor. Redwood Outdoors: 1 year on the sauna. The Harvia heaters on Almost Heaven and Redwood carry their own cover (1 year on elements, 5 years on other parts).
Of the 7 barrels here, the Almost Heaven Salem barrel starts lowest. Watch capacity claims: Redwood calls its barrel "6 person" and also "spacious for 4", and its 4-person cabin "spacious for 3".
For most people, a cedar barrel with the heater included: the Almost Heaven Watoga starts at $5,184 with a 6 kW Harvia heater and a limited lifetime warranty. Redwood Outdoors is similar in price but its warranty on the sauna is 1 year.
A level base and power. A gravel pad costs $1–$3 per sq ft; a concrete slab $6–$12 per sq ft (a 10×10 slab is $600–$1,200). Electric heaters need a 240V circuit run by an electrician, typically $250–$900 for the circuit itself; a long run to the backyard can cost more.

Check every listing. Almost Heaven and Redwood Outdoors include a 6 kW Harvia heater. The Dundalk Elation listing we checked only gives a recommended heater size and doesn't say one is included.
